AAV Capsid Selection

Price:

Includes transfection of a 10 layer cell stack of HEK293 cells, purification of AAV by iodixanol gradient, ion exchange chromatography (if applicable capsid type) and buffer exchange/concentration of final vector into user defined buffer and testing of final AAV vector for vector genome titer (qPCR) and purity/identity (PAGE).

Typical yield of AAV is 1e12vg to 1e13vg per cell stack, and titers of 2e12vg/ml to 2e13 vg/ml, depending on both the capsid and vector cassette packaged.

Cost includes AAV cap plasmid (unless novel capsid, then plasmid supplied by client) and pAd helper plasmid.

Typical turnaround for vector modification is 4-6 weeks from receipt of client plasmid

Unless specified, our final excipient buffers will contain 0.001% Pluronic F68. Pluronic is a widely used non-ionic surfactant added to prevent aggregation during concentration and storage. *Deviations from standard buffers are acceptable but may require a brief consult.
